During testing the LuxeAdapt Soft provided an amazing balance in almost any sleep posture.  The bed provides an amazing amount of pressure relief into the shoulder and hip complex, nearly eliminating pressure in these areas.  The pressure relief of the mattress is amazing, but what takes this mattress to the next level is the amazing support you feel in the small of your lower back and into the contours of your side where you need it.  The LuxeAdapt Soft is arguably the most comfortable all foam mattress on the market today, and the ultimate expression of Tempurpedic's commitment to pressure relief.  

The LuxeAdapt Soft offers all the technology features you can find in the Adapt and ProAdapt collection.  These features include the cool to the touch cover, dual cover SmartClimate system with the stretch knit undercover, and the zip off removable cover.  The LuxeAdapt Soft adds a thicker profile and combines the soft conforming layers of the Tempur ES with the ultra supportive under layer of the APR+.  This combination of Tempur material, unique to the Tempurpedic line, offers an amazing level of comfort and support that is hard to believe the first time you test the mattress.  The most impressive aspect to the mattress is the way it micro adjusts to your unique sleep posture, and mold nearly instantly to your body as you change positions throughout the night.  

The LuxeAdapt Soft left us with little to no pressure points throughout the testing period.  The mattress not only reduced pressure, but dramatically reduced how much we tossed and turned during the testing period.  These benefits were felt beyond our sleep cycles and impacted our performance during the day.  We felt an improvement in energy levels, a reduction in pain points, and a dramatic increase the quality and length of our sleep.  

The LuxeAdapt Soft scores a 4 out of 5 in one category and that is with the overall support of the mattress.  While it is incredibly supportive, some back sleepers and those that prefer and firmer conforming feel than a soft and plush comfort may do better with the LuxeBreeze Soft or the LuxeAdapt Firm.  Both of these models offer a slightly firmer feel than the LuxeAdapt Soft.  Our one caution is to back sleepers dealing with lower back pain.  The LuxeAdapt Soft provided enough support for into the lower back for most, but for those dealing with specific pain in this area may find a slightly firmer feel performs better.  

The Tempurpedic lineup offers durability and consistency of feel across their entire line.  Softer mattresses notoriously do not last as long as firmer more supportive options, with the notable exception of Tempurpedic.  The LuxeAdapt Soft provides an incredibly long lasting mattress and is an exceptionally long lasting bed.  Beyond the general durability of the mattress, where it really sets itself apart is in the consistency of the feel over time.  Tempurpedic only requires a 3/4 of an inch dip or sag or more to make a warranty claim.  This warranty requirement sets the standard for the industry and offers a feel you can expect to experience for years to come.    

The LuxeAdapt Soft offers  a great value when considering the full scope of the purchase.  While this mattress is far from the lower price ranges you can find for high quality options, they do not deliver the level of comfort, consistency of feel, and therapeutic benefits that you will find in the LuxeAdapt Soft mattress.  We feel that when you consider the incredibly long life of the mattress with the benefits it will provide to your sleep that this bed is more than worth the investment if it fits within your budget.  

Every mattress and personal sleep preference is different, and there is no such thing as the perfect mattress.  That said, the LuxeAdapt Soft comes as close as you possibly can to delivering the perfect sleep experience for every sleep style.  We loved this bed in pretty much every aspect, and we know you will too.
